The iconic Whiteman Park tram has been extended to the new Whiteman Park Station as part of the METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Line.

Connecting to the important tourist attraction and growing residential community, Whiteman Park Station will provide a 27-minute train ride to and from Perth CBD. The new station has been designed with a dual purpose - as a transport centre for current and future residential communities, and a tourist and visitor hub.

The tram will depart from a new tram platform just south of Whiteman Park Station, and will travel through the park, connecting to the existing tram network.

Extension of the historic tramway will preserve this iconic piece of Perth history and provide a unique connection to Whiteman Park.

This project is being delivered by METRONET in partnership with the Perth Electrical Tramway Society (PETS), and through support and donations from industry representatives.
