Safety improvements to the intersection of Stock Road and Beeliar Drive in Munster will enable pedestrians and cyclists to cross under signal control and improve traffic flow.
More than 24,000 vehicles pass through the busy intersection each day with 53 report crashes in the past five years.
Safety barriers have been installed on the western corners of the intersection together with upgraded street lighting.
