The existing Ocean Reef Boat Harbour within the City of Joondalup is being transformed into a world-class waterfront precinct, providing a range of recreational, tourism, residential, boating facilities and employment opportunities.

The marina is planned to include a mix of waterfront cafes and restaurants, retail, residential dwellings, hotel and short-stay accommodation, as well as a range of boat pens with capacity to cater for Superyachts. The project design features Perth's first coastal pool, available to locals and visitors.

Bulk earthworks are in progress across the site, with land reclamation and compaction continuing until October 2024. Two new breakwaters have now been built out to their full length.

Stage One works will deliver the coastal pool, a family friendly beach, pedestrian promenade, new facilities and play spaces. It will also deliver new living spaces, including 68 single residential lots and three apartment sites.

On completion, the marina is expected to provide ongoing employment for more than 900 people.
