Construction is underway on the North West Coastal Highway Upgrades project.

Planned works include a new access road to the Oakajee Industrial Area, four kilometres of highway widening, and acceleration and deceleration lanes on North West Coastal Highway.

This significant regional project improves road access safety for heavy freight movements in and out of the industrial area.
