Planning for a prospective future station at Karnup is underway. The Karnup Station and surrounding precinct could provide the opportunity for complementary transport, housing and recreation.

The precinct structure is in planning to establish a framework that will guide potential area development and inform future works if an investment decision on the station construction is made.

To improve connectivity, residents in Karnup and Secret Harbour have benefited from improved bus services to the area from Warnbro Station as well as local road enhancements delivered as part of the Lakelands Station project.
