Project

Jetty One Replacement Barrack Square

Perth

Overview

The Jetty One replacement at Barrack Square aims to return this facility to full operation, supporting tourism, charter, and growth opportunities.

The current Jetty One has been in service for more than 50 years, nearly double its original 30-year design life.

The new jetty will maintain the same overall length, but with a narrower section on the western side to create more water space, improving manoeuvrability and allowing for potential future development between Jetty One and Jetty Two.

Works on Jetty One include demolition of the original structure and introduction of new steel piles and concrete deck.

The jetty plays a crucial role in supporting both commercial users and the local community, and its replacement will safeguard the facility's safety and ensure its ongoing functionality.
