The widening of two kilometres of the Mitchell Freeway between Hutton Street to Cedric Street is now complete and provides a fourth lane in what was previously a heavily congested route.
Works included the installation of 5.3 kilometres of high standard concrete barriers along the rail reserve, between Glendalough Station and Erindale Road as well as construction of a double exit lane on the Cedric Street.
