Batavia Coast Marina is a popular marina facility close the Geraldton city centre. It serves as a base for seasonal charters and recreational boaters.

This project will address demand for additional maritime facilities including boat launching, boat pens and associated marine services.

The development will see a new floating facility with thirty four pens, accommodating vessels up to twenty five metres. The design allows for easy loading and unloading of ferry passengers from the head of the jetty. Works are expected to commence on-site in October 2024.

The development will assist tourism and operators in Geraldton, while supporting new marine-based tourism opportunities, including fishing and diving charters, glass bottom boat tours, whale watching and maritime history tours.
