The Bandy Creek Weir has been reinstated following a flood event in February 2017, which caused significant damage to the structure. This included erosion of the foundation materials and collapse of the southern end of the concrete weir structure.
The Bandy Creek Boat Harbour at Esperance will now be safeguarded from future flood events following completion of the replacement weir.
Construction works were finalised as of 16 April 2020.
